The cats were all snuggled, safe in their chair,
Certain that Carolyn was off, who knows where;














Remedios no longer reclined in my lap,
But was clearly arranged for a long winter's nap.














The cats are all happy; in fact, they're feeling great
Because Indiana just beat Ohio State.

But I'll spare your more jingling rhymes like "mi casa,"
in a desperate grab to ask how goes Bahasa?

And end with a quick, happy note of good cheer,
